Unfortunately the Red media hasn't let anybody forget about the tragic events of the 17th of October 2020 when Saint Virgin sacrificed his knee to help Britain fight against COVID-19.

Without exception, the 'incident' has been mentioned during every Liverpool game since then, so I'm sure they'll be quick off the marks tomorrow - but who can guess the correct terminology and time it will be mentioned after kick off?

Let's also not forget that, by forfeiting his knee, it automatically led to Liverpool putting up one of the most dismal title defences in recent times, and even was the single reason why all of their other players got injured too!

So what golden nuggets will the commentary team come out with and when?

They'll mention Pickford's 3 day torture and eventual axe murder of big Verg.
Richarlsons Bruce Lee impression on Thiago who was so badly injured that he managed to play the rest of the game missing most of his leg, what a trooper.

As I said in another thread, the only right thing to do for Everton is to lay down a floral wreath in the centre circle before kick off. In honour and remembrance of Big Virge and all other Liverpool players we've done wrong in past derbies. But the black armbands certainly should be there. Preferably on both arms.
