What a game of cricket yesterday. Life can be so unfair sometimes.

Bright and sunny today. So a quick visit to the gym.and then get stuck into the garden and maybe a well earned sit in the sun this afternoon.

Can you imagine being in that submersible looking at your fellow explorers and knowing that you are all going to die shortly and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. I honestly can't think of anything worse it would surely drive you mad .

Been a bit cloudy lately. Mixed bag today. May do a bit of tidying up in the garden as brown bin due Friday and supposed to be out with the neighbour Thursday for a drive in his Jag and a spot of lunch. Ascot this afternoon.

Good morning all. Non working day so dropped Mr F off at work, then back to bed with a coffee for a read of the news. Meeting a friend for lunch later. Mostly to hand over some supplies I liberated from the stationery cupboard in the office on Monday. It looks like we are going to accept the Govt pay offer. The main sticking point seems to be that the £1500 one off cost of living payment should be given to everyone and not pro-rated depending on how many hours you work - the argument being that cost of living affects everyone and is not related to hours worked.
I've also just read that Pat Cummins went to Villa Park to see Bruce on Friday after he had finished at Edgbaston. He's making it very hard for me not to like this particular Aussie skipper. I remember reading that he gave a substantial donation to help India fight COVID.
Weather seems OK here after yesterday's monsoon. At the moment I'm choosing another ridiculous acca. I did win £21 yesterday - so I'm £17 up.

Looks like we’re finally getting the repaired car back to day, but that means driving to drop off the hire car, then driving to the repairers to pick up ours. At least my wife will enjoy the journey…..

Hi All!

It is cool out this morning here, but it will heat up as the day goes on. The weather here has been cooler lately so I'm not complaining. Nothing new here going on, that I can remember anyway lol

I've been praying for the submarine folks. Miracles can happen.

Have some pics to post later that I took before I injured my foot. I am still catching up on getting a lot of stuff done. There are a couple of special pics, too.
