I noticed, I couldn't resist and I always google where everyone is located. So would you also be considered a scouser? or being outside 15 minutes takes away the label?

My family are from Liverpool but my dad moved to The Leisure Peninsula that is The Wirral before I was born.

I now live in Hampshire and hate the place.

Now you see Sassy , Fred is continuing your education in the ways of England.
In this country one word can often have 2 meanings , perhaps more so that in the States.
So if you see Conservative with a small c it means , set in their ways / not progressive.
However if like Fred did you use it with capital C it means that he is referring to a political party , think Republicans.
As for Liverpool being a Conservative stronghold, nothing could be further from the truth lol .

No I'm not a scouser. My mum and dad are. But they left Liverpool and moved to Skelmersdale for work purposes .

Liverpool is quite possibly the world centre of anti conservatism. It's certainly the UK centre.

Not really Sass although many scousers moved out from Liverpool to Ormskirk.

I'm sorry to hear that. Why do you hate it, toast? I just googled it and looks like lovely place with lots of history. Just learned that the town was "first settled about 14,000 years ago, Hampshire's recorded history dates to Roman Britain."

They just happen to be white so from a distance look like snow topped mountains. lol

Actually, that whole area, although extremely industrial, is still quite beautiful in a weird way. Eden is of course situated in one of the old China clay pits.

I was surprised by @Toast Saying that he hated Hampshire.

It is an absolutely beautiful county with lovely old villages and the New Forest which is an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty.

Yep I know Lostwithiel ( which I think in Cornish means the town of lost souls ) very well. I'd never refer to it as a village lol .
Close to the English China Clay works at Par (not to be confused with Par in St Helens ) where you will find lots of man made mountains, well maybe not mountains but hills.
