Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Perhaps, but at times there is no way around it especially when you have been as productive with your posts. So here goes my first answers to several post. I'm still pages away to catch up with everything but I'm afraid this post will become too long if I continue.

Terrain, have you ever consider getting acupuncture to help you manage your pain?

Sounds like your aunt had a lovely funeral and a nice remembrance. While it is hard to say goodbye to our loved ones, it is those larger-than-life memories about aunt Ava that will keep you going when you miss her the most. xx

Can't wait to catch up with the rest of this thread and read how things are going for you this weekend, Ange. Wishing everything had gone smoothly with the visit with your son's girlfriend, how exciting for him to have found love.

Fred, Now you are going to have to clarify for me what is it that you consider the wacky stuff?

It is unfortunate the in the UK medical marihuana has not been legalized because cannabis it is much better form of pain treatment than the addictive narcotics that are currently being used in traditional medicine for pain. Not sure the legality of CBD in your area but If you ever want me to send you some gummies or oil that can help ease pain and sleep, I will be happy to do so just PM your mailing address.

I do

What's a Keralan curry?

Your Thai curry is very similar than mine expect for some of the seasoning. I absolutely love mussels too, Fred. So if Cornwall has some of the best in the world, then that gives me an extra reason to visit England’s rugged southwestern tip one day when we get to do our road trip in Europe.

In Asheville which is located in the mountain we don't have the fortune to get fresh seafood like you do but we get a local rainbow trout that's super delicious. I encrusted with pecans, butter, and rosemary then bake it for 10-12 minutes served it with green beans and couscous for a quick and tasty meal.

It is the pout that I love the most, I try to take after it ;) lol

Lucky you. Is that the coldest it gets in Alicante during the winter?

LT, that's exactly what I tell my mom when she complaints that she doesn't want to put the burden on us as she gets old. I feel this is the time to give back to our parents after the nourishing care that they provided for us growing up. You are indeed a good son but your parents must have been good parents to you as well if you feel the desire to give back to them in this way. I'm sure your children will do the same and will be there for you too.

Lovely! Please give her my greetings too @blue1948

So it is mine! Just because we have a blue heart doesn't mean that we can't wear our favorite color even if red is despised by many. One must stand its ground when it comes to fashion, not everything is about football
:D

I hope your good mood has continued along with some good health. x

The same happened to me this morning, it has gotten me very melancholic.
What a handsome ginger our Karl was too.

That has always been one of Benitez strategies. It is always the players at fault but never him.

Exactly, he is excellent at it but that's a good as it gets.

We know from experience lol

Just like he did for James, that's why he is in Qatar now.

I have been scaring germs with my whips so you got nothing to fear my friend.

Can our Mascoteer tour begin in Finland and end somewhere warm? :) If I had won the lottery on Wednesday that's exactly what I would have done for ourselves, would had purchased tickets for everyone to go on a Holiday and meet Jazzy and Mrs. J in the Caribbean. Instead that night I was caring for the hubby and totally forgotten to purchase my tickets and of course someone won over half billion that night and it wasn't me :(

Yes that's what I was referring to. And Jazzy's response explains why we refer to it as whacky baccy. (play on tobacco). It's illegal here, for the most part.

Because of the mild climate down here it's probably the only place in the UK where you can grow it in the wild. So it's quite popular down here Sass.
I was asked to grow itin the forest at our last place but found out that the deer love to eat it so we wouldn't have gotten a crop .

Good morning all on this great day today ,-10° and off for the booster this morning .so nice to see @Sassy Colombian posting again but sad to hear she is not having the best of times ,I do hope to hear señor sassy doesn't have covid nd wish him well .
Is @Barnfred 55 up late or up early ? Not your normal posting realm Fred .
I hope all have a great day and the sick feel better .

Born within the chimes of Bow bells, whatever that is. I think it's somewhere in East London.
Yes that is what I was always told ,just googled Sefton gardens and went to the streetview ,life is funny the house she lived in ( Her father was an ex-cop but MD of Sweda cash registers) was so far away from the one I lived in in Walton , it is smaller than the one we live in now . We some of us are so fortunate .

OK. This bit I've always said is wrong.
A scouser is someone born within the Liverpool City boundaries
A liverpudlian is someone who supports the vile shower of shîte we share a city with.
I am not and never will claim to be a liverpudlian if asked where I'm from.
I say I'm a scouser, I'm from Liverpool. If they say oh youre a liverpudlian I will answer no, I'm a scouser.
Trying to explain this to out of towners or on holidays over the years certainly led to lengthy conversations often with sudden endings , exactly like you “so you’re a Liverpudlian then ?” “NO IM ******* NOT”.

The holiday one , particularly years ago , always amused me . “Oh your from Liverpool you might know these two “ , as meet this other young couple with a ridiculously jarg accent claiming to be Scousers who were usually from Skem !

I am from Maghull so always referred to it as a suburb on the outskirts of Liverpool. My dad was bombed out of Bootle during the war and would only ever admit to being from Bootle, Lancs. Not coming from the city itself and being a Blue I would never admit to or claim to be a Liverpudlian. If anyone asked if I was I just said I am an Evertonian from just outside Liverpool.

Many years ago the bloke in the house next door to my late Mum was raided as he was growing cannabis in his back bedroom. Later I discovered a plant growing at the bottom of her garden, no one believes me though, they say it is impossible in our climate. She made me burn it, great bonfire thoughlol

Morning everyone, clouded over now after an absolutely stunning sunrise. Off to the optician yet again for me today, been to them three times already, GP and hospital. The consultant at hospital sorted one problem but told me to go back to optician for the other. Can’t complain about the GP and hospital because they fast tracked me as emergency so am grateful for that but am beginning to think that my other issue is to do with a wrong prescription - if it is - you may hear me explode?. Wish me luck. Hope today is good one for you all.
