Mice in the gaff

Discovered droppings in the gaff, girlfriend terrified has made me clean the place out.

Spotted one of them, it ran off. Have kill traps down but no nibbles in 24 hours.

Have a glue trap too, told mates if they got stuck on it I’d absolutely leather the little Freddie mercury wannabes - got dogs abuse for that.

What’s your position when discovered? Time of year for the little micro-sausage laying cowards.

Parents went away few years ago so was minding the house for the week. Storm first night and a couple of rats got in between the floor boards I reckon off a broken slates in the porch. Never had a problem with rodents before. It was in winter so kept the heat off to make it as cold inside as outside and got these frequency plug in things that supposedly drive them daft and positioned them over the run they had in the floor boards and within 24hrs they were gone. If you do go buy the plug in ones make sure they are good and not a cheap gimmicky brand

Peanut butter or nuttella in the trap. I've had them in the garage loads of times and they can't resist the stuff.

Get a Jack Russell. Or a cat.

I go with cats. Got two. One is prolific, he gets one every half hour in the summer the fat [Poor language removed]. If you get the humane traps try to remember you’ve put them down, I’ve forgotten a few times then they turn into very inhumane traps.

If you walked about the house sqeezing out logs it wouldn't be called droppings. Why do mice get a nice term for their landmines.

You need to find where the buggers are getting in and block that path. Then place the traps around teh edges of the rooms that the droppings are found in. Nutella/Peanut butter\Chocolate basically anything sweet and you'll get them.
