Gave a pen away against Spurs

Lost Soyuncu for Leicester equaliser

Skinned for two goals and failed to close down Wilson against Newcastle

Tell me which Coady mistakes cost us points.

I get why he's a scapegoat but again - we were 19th and widely condemned and accepted as "down" without Keane playing a single minute.

The emphasis on Keane is way OTT.

Oh and enjoy Coadys last game for us;

Michael above is addressing it. Just conceding one goal turns the tide of the game even if it's not a straightforward as "well we let in 3 more after his mistake".

He is calamitous. Has been since we signed him. No idea why people are giving him another chance to break us.

It’s tough to see people flailing about so obviously embarrassed about defending this atrocity in the past.

Well technically by your metrics, that Coady mistake didn’t cost us points because we were already a goal down. So again I’ll ask, tell me which Coady mistakes cost us points.

He hasn't.

Spurs collapse was on Doucoure. Give away a pen but cancelled out with an equaliser.

"Lost Soyuncu for Leicester equaliser"

I mean, cmon 😂

What? Can you explain what’s so funny about that? He ghosts in behind him and Keane doesn’t have a clue where he is or what’s going on around him, like he doesn’t 100% of the time.

Again.

We were 19th when Dyche tookover/without Keane kicking a ball.

You and others are putting way too much on Keane.

"Keane will relegate us!!!"

He's not cost us a point since coming in.

Coady is as poor, if not worse. At least Keane is more of a threat in the opposition box.

Mina - I think he will have checked out. A player waiting on his last pay day in a relegation scrap? He'd last 30 minutes anyway.

Ah so it's okay when he gives away another easy goal next game then.

He tried his best to give away 3 but luckily when Vardy outpaced him every single time he hit the bar once and had Pickford make a save. Oh also the pen thing.

???

Still my point remains.

Some are desperate to attribute blame to him.

Some will have been glad he conceded the penalty over any other player.

He's a scapegoat.

But let's remember we were 19th and on the deck before he played a single minute.

There's no quick fix.

so because we havent moved position he isnt at fault for lost points? not sure how that makes sense?

we'd have likely picked up a few more points if he hadnt played, the stats under dyche with and without keane back that up

Tbf we've lost 10 of past 15 games Coady has played. Lost only 4 of the last 10 Keane has played.

I don't think Keane has been brilliant but Coady is definitely no better than him. Got humiliated in his last game v Villa.

As people have already pointed out, a lot of those games were under the worst manager in the league who didn’t play a midfield and not necessarily as a result of defensive errors. The numbers since Dyche came in with and without Keane in the side speak for themselves. He is a huge, huge problem and has been since we signed him.
