Loan?! He's a half decent defender in the right system. Must be somebody who wants to buy him.

Got to be touting him round for a permanent deal ASAP to gather some funds for a striker and winger.
There must surely be something in the pot already, be it £10m, £15m or whatever it is.
Keane, although we don't like him as a player, should be able to fetch over £10m, and we have many other players who offer us nothing, don't play, and should be sold ASAP too: Mina, Doucouré, Davies, Holgate, Rondon to name a few. Got to be £20m between that lot.
Recall Branthwaite if there is a risk of being too low of centre halves. Desperate times call for desperate desperate measures
Doing the above must surely get us £20m-£30m at a minimum to buy two attacking players that can keep us up.
Nah not at all. You know they're all crap, and I do too, but the likes of Davies and Keane genuinely do have a decent reputation: Keane as a steady Premier League quality centre back, and Davies as a 'youngster' with potential and with plenty of Premier League experience. Some clubs may naively believe that, and nowadays £5m is considered a loan fee and not a transfer fee - I think they're easily worth £15m between them, even though they're both awful. Doucouré and Mina set to leave for free so if we could find a club willing to pay a nominal fee of £3-5m for Mina to secure his signature, £2m for Doucouré, that's more into the pot. Rondon, yeah, not worth a carrot. Holgate also has a good reputation and easily £10m to the right buyer. There have to be clubs as stupid as Everton out there, surely.I do not think we would get anywhere near the figures you’ve specified there for those players. If we got £10m for all of them combined I would be shocked.
He really, really didn't.Hahaha he literally kept us up last season
Came on at Leicester and won us that game, and got the fight back against Palace going. He really, really didn't.
His calamitous defending was a major contributing factor to our being in a relegation battle to start with.
Not saying he was the ONLY one at fault.Came on at Leicester and won us that game, and got the fight back against Palace going.
He did no more then anyone else to get us in a relegaton fight, Richarlison with his longgggg run without scoring was a bigger problem, along with Dominic Calvert-Lewin being made of paper, add to that Mina, Lucas, and even Pickford had his moments, it was a team effort
But you can say that about every player, did Richarlison cancel out going for about 10 games without scoring by getting a few? Infact his first goal in ages im sure was against Burnley and we lost that thanks to Godfrey, they were all badNot saying he was the ONLY one at fault.
But are you honestly suggesting two good showings (Palace & Leicester) cancel out a couple of dozen awful ones?
Why does everyone keep talking about recalling Branthwaite so he can sit on his arse and be 5th choice? He’s playing first team games and developing, leave him where he is.
….I think the point is that he’s not playing regularly (came on in the 87th minute of their win at Ajax the other night).
There will come a point where we need a back-up CB & with Mina being fragile, Branthwaite & Godfrey could be required. This is about what’s best for Everton.
