That turn and finish he did at the weekend was not slow. He took up a decent position and then had the pace and composure..
Ah my bad. I must have missed all those years of him in central defence not turning like a harboured ship.

We've paid players millions who barely made the team sheet in the Moshiri era - Keane is well down the list of worst signings.
Hope Branthwaite gets fit though.
Not even the worst centre back we've bought *cough* Ashley Williams *cough*
I remember Keane and maybe .. Zouma ? Thinking they were pretty decent.
Williams never convinced.
He's okay facing forwards, well just about okay. Turning to track a runner, not so much. So twin striker with DCL it is.Getting me wrong there Nymzee. I didn't say he turned quickly as a defender, I just gave you an example where he did take up a position and had to turn in attack and he looked reasonable.
This might just be down to the fact defenders are usually reacting to the strikers moves and often they get the jump so you need extra recovery pace to cope, that he doesn't have. It might be he over thinks things, or could just be he isn't a natural defender.
I wouldn't have him upfront all game as that would be crazy, he has shown the ability required to grab a goal though.

Yeah it's right tbh to keep him in against Fulham. The reasons given will be his recent performances and Branthwaite not yet fully fit.Undroppable?
