2024/25 Michael Keane

The sooner he’s gone the better, he can’t literally torpedo any game from any position. i can’t imagine he’ll go in January as I presume Moyes will want to keep 4 CBs at the club but if anyone extends his contract in the summer they’re crazy he has to go

Moyes has had a look at Harrison and brought Keane on for a horror show, hopefully except as an emergency striker "Keane" thats it now. Harrison I dont see the point of him. Young, he is 40 so really we need to be giving Patterson at least a chance to show. He looked OK yesterday when he came on.

Big problem with Keane is that he can't defend big spaces at all - if we're going to go with this quasi-back 3 thing we've got going on with O'Brien, its really hard to see how he can contribute to the rest of our season. It might be worth potentially letting him go somewhere in January and seeing if we can pick up someone who could grow into a long term Branthwaite replacement. Shame really, I'll always have time for Keane - utterly screwed over by the chaos at the club, there's a reason he looked ace under Ancelotti. Always grateful for kickstarting the comeback against Palace

Has to be a kid in the rezzies better than this lad.

Get what coin we can now and offload.
Unfortunately nobody wants him, certainly not on £80k a week. In fairness though, his agent knows very well that Keane's salary is halving with his next club, so a long-term, secure move now might still be appealing. Everton would probably just to get him off the books.

He’s never getting a contract like the one he got here again, so if there’s anyone mad enough to be looking at him, we should push and so should his agent.

If that sheff United story isn’t wham I’d be delighted!
