Could name a lot of players that contributed to our relegation battles, Keane is low down that list. Gray, Iwobi, Onana and Dele are top. Where talent meets lazy work ethic. But I appreciate now Dele has had addiction issues and I think a contract now he's better benefits his recovery and us.

I understand that the club is a mess and Dyche can only do so much, but Keane, Young, Holgate, Coleman, and Gueye should be nowhere near Everton Football Club in 2024 if we are remotely serious as a club. There are others who should also be moved on, but there is no excuse to keep hold of three old men and two proven failures, even less to play the majority of them in our opening match.

It's not like money has not been spent and new players have not been bought. What was the worst that could have happened yesterday had he played the new boys instead? A similar resounding defeat? But at least those players would have had the crowd on side and would have earned this vaunted PL experience Dyche seems to put such store in.

Funny, but his opposite number had zero PL experience yesterday and still schooled him.

I thought he did OK Michael Keane. Made a couple of nice long passes. It was unfortunately a very poor Everton performance second half. Felt a bit low at full time. Need to improve dramatically. C.O.Y.B.
