2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

Wonder what Keane thinks? Does he know he rubbish and causing us issues or he doesn't give a damn.

I’m sure he knows, he probably feels pretty bad about it. What’s he going to do though? He doesn’t pick himself, he isn’t going to refuse to play.

Watching it back he actually did some pretty decent defending in the game, it’s just his errors cost too much.

You can't help but feel bad the lad, he's not an AWFUL defender but he's just in a setup that makes him so so so much worse. And, yeah, he is pretty bad as a defender but, on a team with a serious low block, he'd probably be ok. And he's genuinely a better shot on target than our strikerS. Yes, plural. Find it funny nobody has really tried to change his game. He could be like Chris Wood

If Dyche is still Manager at the end of the season (big if I know) Keane is getting a new contract.

Can honestly see it happening. Especially with Branthwaite being sold, assuming he gets fit and plays well.

Thing with him is that he does have a good attitude does not really kick off and does train hard. Unlike holgate ect maupay with bad attitudes, his problem has always been his mentality is just not strong enough to get over his errors or when you have to really fight be aggresive he does not have it. Think he does care just simply not good enough for us

Controversial opinion....but we need to stop blaming Keane for us being garbage.
Not every disaster stems from him. Granted, the stats are better with him out of the team, but the stats were also better when Doucs was in the team last season and everyone thinks he’s pants.
We need to face facts. We have a poor manager, a very mediocre set of players and a losers mentality. It’s not a great combination.
