someone with more tactical knowledge can explain this properly but i essentially think whilst Keane has had strong performances this year we are essentially worse off for him in the side
we sit deeper, no one attacks the ball, all his best defending is on the back foot, edge of the box kind of last ditch clearance
essentially we want to limit that which we would do with him out the side. tarkowski isnt rapid but he covers the ground a lot quicker than keane, and he is explosive and dynamic over a short burst. keane turns like a corby trouser press
