Not ready yet to come to Everton

But if he becomes successful as a manger elsewhere, yes would like to see it happen.

It also depends on the type of squad he'd be taking over. At least a few would have to be schooled in the Cruyff ways.
If he becomes successful elsewhere he will then be beyond our reach, and we will just carry on with rubbish like Silva, this is why we need to go now for him.

We best go for one of them proven managers that are guaranteed to bring success then.
I feel he 'knows' Everton pretty well and has seen just how much the managers job has become something of a poison chalice. I don't see him wanting to go anywhere near the Club at the moment. To be honest, I think he'll be far more shrewd and play things a little 'safer' with his career.
I believe he would jump at the chance of becoming manager of the blues, he's been looking for a premiere job for a while now, he knows the club very well and was on the short list for the Arsenal job.

People saying he's not ready to manage Everton like we're some sort of European Powerhouse ....

Get him in asap and get us back our identity.

We do overrated ourselves. Maybe it's what we think we should be. But step outside our club and I think we would be unpleasantly suprised how average we are thought of. Current players managers and fans don't care of our pre 1980s history. We are thought of in the same bracket as wolves/burnley etc etc. We will not be able to draw a big name manager so if silva gets sacked some one like the Spanish magician could well be the best option by far.

You must take risks sometimes. Real Madrid appointed Zidane, Barcelona Guardiola. Democrat voters now prefer young and progressive Ocasio-Cortez instead of same old established names like Biden and Pelosi. Why we do not trust to Arteta who was our former player loves us and has hunger to succeed.

Yes of course it would be a risk but pretty well any appointment is a risk. Koeman on paper carried very little risk but he proved to be a disaster. Allardyce is perhaps the least risky, with defence minded percentage football guaranteeing a mid table finish but with no prospect of winning anything and crushing tedium for those watching. You can take calculated risks and if Arteta is interested in the job then Brands and Moshiri should be grilling him to find out exactly how he would have his team play tactically, would he be a flexible manager ( unlike Silva with his obsession with 4231), who would he bring with him, how would he set up the present Everton team based on the present squad? If, as I hope, he is a manager who will play in a progressive style that will emulate City's style of play under Guardiola then the rewards could be fantastic. In life the people who succeed are those who take opportunities when they arise. Silva's time is over so the opportunity is there. If Arteta is interested then I for one hope that we take the risk.
