Mirallas- On the left?

Fellaini'sWIG

Player Valuation: £25k
Could we see Mirallas playing on the left this season with pienaar being pushed into midfield alongside Gibson? This is the team against W.Brom I'd like to see -

Howard
Coleman---Jagielka--Distin/Heitinga---Baines
Naismith---Gibson --- Pienaar---Mirallas
----------------Fellaini--------------------
----------------Jelavic--------------------

This lineup could see Pienaar playing as more of a central play-maker, allowing Mirallas to be an out and out attacking winger and could create an unstoppable left side trio. The right side would also be very strong in an attacking sense although questions about Coleman's defensive consistency...

Good times ahead for us blues to with many attacking options!

Just an idea. The same partnership could still be achieved when attacking if Pienaar drifts out left. The only place i can see Mirallas being able to fulfill his potential without being pushed out wide right destined to make dead end Walcott like runs...

It's good. We have a lot of versatile players which means we can play lots of nice fluid football. Players like Ossie, Pienaar, Mirallas, Naismith all switch about playing cheeky passes.

Walcott is rubbish, he does dead end runs cos hes utter tosh, not cos hes played on the wing.

Can see the same happening to Mirallas though.. similar players with similar physique. Wouldnt have the support he needs unless he starts with Coleman behind him which i doubt will happen..

Give Pienaar free roam to create but primarily, start him on the left. There's no better combination in the PL than Baines and Peanuts, they will conjure up moments of magic in every game. Super Kev and Nikica up front playing off each other, Naismith on the right to balance things out.

Seemed weird seeing Mirallas playing up top in the center, Thought he looks more like a winger, we'll have to wait n see which position he ends up in.

its a tough one because we all dont wont to break up the baines/pienaar partnership on the left. i would personally keep pienaar on the left with baines and mirallas just behind jelavic or maybe vice versa with pienaar in a free role and mirallas on the left.

i was trying to see what role moyes gave him in his cameo, looked like the tim cahill role. He would come onto the left to help out baines and pienaar, then he would go to the right to help out coleman and then he drifted into the middle when he scored the dissallowed goal to take up the support striker role too.
