Would be pleased with any of the four teams left, but I've got an Alcides Escobar jersey hanging in my closet, so it's gotta be Royals.

Also I went to KC once and it was ace so yeah.
 

Only just got a chance to reply to this as was in work for the 9th Inning, but Harvey proving doubters wrong. What an outing!

Arrieta against a confidence filled Noah Syndergaard tonight. Will be a good battle if we can win, and get to 2-0 heading to Wrigley, I fancy our chances!

I wouldn't say so.

I think based on the fact that we lost every game against the Cubs during the season (0-8), and the fact that everyone in the states is dying to see a fairytale ending for the Cubs at long last, has made them the favourites, however, the Mets are Superb at home, one of the best in baseball this season, and when you have Harvey on the mound, you're often going to get a good one (even if I have doubted his focus lately), and that's very difficult to beat.

Tonight will be ALOT harder than last night. He had a wobble last time out Arrieta, but on full rest, he's also a force to be reckoned with.

Go to Wrigley 2-0, with DeGrom up in game 3, and I think we'll win. Big if though.

Not a shock at all to me. Fate has rolled seven out of seven to the Cubs this year. Got to roll the other way eventually.

It makes today's game with Arrieta a must win. In a seven-game series, you're always good with going home to three games with a split of the first two. Props to the Mets - I just watched the recorded game and Dan Murphy is just unconscious right now.

How about that shot from Schwarber, though? Schwarbomb.

Do you think the Cubs players may try too hard to slug their way to victory with glorious home runs rather than go for lots of base hits and run the players in? Harder to get HRs as the quality of pitchers goes up?

As a Mets fan, Schwarber terrifies me. The ball was rocketing off his bat last night
