Is it broken for anyone else or just me?

Will there be a mobile mode for the new site?
It works pretty much ok on my phone (HTC desire) but its a little bit slow loading pages, often up to 10 seconds a time rather than 2-3 that mobile mode used to.
No big issue but thought i'd ask.
That's a surprise pal, average page load on here is considerably less/much faster. Only Yesterday I was checking that on Google Analytics.
I suspect its because the old mobile mode had much fewer posts per page - trying to find that balance is proving difficult.
This forum has 'responsive design' which is in effect, mobile mode as the forum adapts to the device/view.
I assumed it was just cause mobile mode was more basic so less info to load, now i get what looks like an exact replica of the full site so guessed there's more data to load, get full avatars and stuff. Its kinda like the page will pretty much load reasonable quick but not fully, i'll be able to scroll down the page a bit but it will then jump back up to the top of the page, can happen a couple of times making at worst about 10 seconds before i can view the page properly.
Could just be my phone though, its a good one but its 3 years old now.
Can your phone do a screen grab mate?

HTC Desire? Looks like the latest update for it is Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). From what I recall Gingerbread was a bit of a bloaty OS, so unless you are rooted and flashed a custom ROM, there won't be much processor/RAM for pushing the forum. Generally upgrading to 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) will yield great improvements to general phone usage as it is a more efficient OS.
Not saying you should go to all the trouble just so you can browse GOT from your phone, but something to consider to give the phone a new lease on life without having to fork out for a new phone.
