Just heard the Croatian playmaker is joining the fantasticly successful North London side. Only seen bits and bobs of the lad but did impress me.
I know Atletico Madrid and the Arse were after him so he's obviously impressing other people aswell.

Modric has been linked with every big club going since he single handedly tore England a new one in their own backyard. Very impressive little playmaker it will be interesting to see if he can cut it in the pace of the premiership though.

he was linked with us, arsenal and Juventus last summer transfer window, he's had a lot of hype around him for a while the England match just emphasised the fact that he was a good prospect. Like I said though, it'll be interesting for the price Spurs have paid whether or not Modric can actually cut it in the premiership. I have a sneaking suspicion that he may not be physical enough for the prem.
