He was a last minute panic buy and has totally flopped so far.

Brands is to blame plain and simple.

Seeing as we were talking to Raiola about him in February i think thats highly unlikely.

Hes also rated as one of the worlds leading youth prospects.

Fabinho didnt even get regular games for the RS for 6months and he was an established player...

Have to look at overseas signings as players for the following season, they have to be given time to adapt.

Just look at Mina.

He looks so lost and confused when he trudged off, it was ABSOLUTELY the wrong thing to do. Yes, he was having a shocker but that just seemed too reactionary and old fashioned.

Dunc would have all that on tape and could have sat down with him this week and laid into him as he showed him what he was doing wrong.

Feels like Victorian style discipline imo, you're not in Barlinnie now mate.

Barlinnie isn't a place. It's a state of mind.

Problem was that he looked so lost and confused whilst he was on the pitch.

Everton are three points above the relegation zone and its nearly Christmas.

Yep, he really did, bizarrely so. How can you play football all your life and totally cock up your instruction (language aside). It was quite weird to watch tbh

He would still offer as much as Oumar though

I posted in the other thread that maybe the occasion got to him a bit and he reverted to type playing centrally. Or maybe he was never clear on the instruction in the first place but unwilling or unable to clarify before getting on.

Can only have been something like that cos he was totally lost, and more shockingly, gassed. Ihave to say though, when you come on as a sub, those first few sprints are the hardest of the whole game, I am sure he would have got his legs back in a minute or two.

Would you have been happy for us to concede again & come away with nothing just to spare the lad’s feelings?

He’d been on minute & he was switching off & strolling about like it was kick about in the park!
