Probably get bombed back to Italy in the summer. Not sure it's all his fault feels like he has been hyped up way beyond his current ability and then pushed towards big moves by his agent ,he is a kid.

Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case, especially when a couple of months prior to joining us, he had Bonucci defend the fans that were racially abusing him. Something like that would make it easy for his agent to use to convince him to move away and whoever he would join, it would be more a case of him wanting to leave Juve, instead of actually wanting to join who he would sign for.

Listen fella I know exactly what people THINK he meant, that were a dirty side. That’s not what he meant at all, hence why he put the emphasis on Paris Saint germain at the end, he was talking about how poor they’d been. Ps you’re a patronising tit
Bit personal that fella.

Seems you are the only one that didnt understand what Merson said & meant.

Vlasic is another one, although at some point he's got to come back to a real league.

Always a chance they'll come good, but there was next to no chance they'd come good at Everton.

So it's never really "one that got away". Same with Kean - he'll score a few this season against cannon fodder but he's still crap in terms of what he could do for us. Which is nothing.

I disagree on the older ones. With Kean I agree only because there is no real reason to give him extensive minutes with DCL playing like he is. He had to go somewhere. However PSG is tough because if he does well there he's done here and if he doesn't he still won't be getting in our team. I guess maybe we just hope for a good fee.

The fact that he went to PSG makes believe we want to sell.

If he does well there, he is not coming back and we would get a big fee due to the hype he has and his agent.

If he does decent, we will probably get what we paid or a little more.

Even if he does poorly, he was still a young player playing for PSG and the national team. He must be good! And in this scenario we might still get a respectable fee.

I think it was more about protecting the investment than developing the player. If we were interested in his development we would have sent him to a team with guaranteed playing time and hopefully in the Premier League.

This is spot on.

We have had lots of players over the years who we have moved on, some come good, some don't, but each and every single one them wouldn't and wasn't coming good at Everton.
