I reckon the writing was on the wall since he was subbed by Duncan, I honestly think we have seen the last of him as an Everton player and that saddens me, that's him and Vlasic now we might struggle to get young lads from abroad if this continues.

He's going to score plenty of goals against the poorest teams in a very poor league.

It doesn't mean that he wouldn't have been coming on for another ineffective 10-minute cameo yesterday if he was still an Everton player.

It's a very smart move from the club. A lot of the time they do things that are questionable, but this is asmart move. He's a finisher, and will get loads of chances and score lots of goals. If he gets 20+ his value shoots up. We still have him for 3 years so have gret leverage.

I don't see him coming back here. In all honesty our only chance would be if we built the team to suit him but I'm not sure you can do that with Richarlinson/DCL/James. Maybe if one of the first 2 goes.

It's a good loan though, and what Liverpool/Chelsea do well. They get good young loan players the right loan then sell at a good price.

Comes from giants Juventus. Treated like a mug at mid table prem club Everton then goes to Paris and is scoring.

I most certainly agree.

Yeah, I don't think that Everton could have picked a better place for Kean to rehabilitate his reputation before looking for a buyer next summer.

He could easily score 15-20 in the games that Icardi doesn't need to bother getting out of bed for.

Ever get the feeling that Kean's career has been mapped out in advance by Riola? His whole career to date has been peculiar: an Italian international, he moves from Juventus to Everton (reportedly escaping Italy in the face of racist abuse); spends little over a year, fails to get much playing time, then gets moved on again, to an uber-wealthy French club. It would not be too fanciful to suggest that Riola let the lad come to Everton only under an (unwritten) agreement that he alone would decide when and where he'd be moved to next. Maybe too that sort of 'understanding' was why our managers didn't think it worthwhile to give him much game time.

Return of Ever-loan from the Martínez era. But instead of bringing them in, we send them out.

In all seriousness, it is a decent model if you are able to attract the right caliber players. Lookman, Vlasic, and Onyekuru certainly worked out well.

It's a great move to be honest. Worst case scenario is that he will just up his confidence. You could even say the French league is a better challenge for him than the Italian league.

As I think I said above, we are going to need to become more sanguine about such situations. Chelsea and to a degree Liverpool do this a lot. They buy highly rated young players, get them good loans, watch them excel then often move them on at a hefty profit. His book value will probbly be around £15m and we could get £45m+ for him. That £30m profit, if spready as costs over 4 year contracts could allow for spending of £120m next summer.
