need to get a new monitor, my pc is in my conservatory (which i use as my office)
fed up not being able to see the screen because of the reflections on the rare occaisions that the sun shines.
is there a type of monitor that reflects very little or am wasting my time?

I can offer milk monitor help if needed. Was a classroom monitor once also. Jack of all trades here, master of none.

You need a monitor with high brightness and contrast ratio. The key is the brightness. What size you looking at?

watch it chris. Dylan is bringing your size into it again,.

Thankfully some of us do not have any reason to be embarrassed by size.
i sympathise with those who do. (for the little fella from the wirral, i will save him by not mentioning any names)

Does it work mate?

Well it did do, it is like a sun visor so there is nothing that can't work, it could be too small for your monitor Chris but I'll have the boss dig it out when she comes in, you are more than welcome, I haven't got a conservatory so I don't need it:lol::lol::lol::lol:

cheers mate. trying to work on some accounts and can barely see the screen, got pissed off so messing about on here

If you do get one, look for the spec of around 500cd/m2 The higher that number, the brighter it is. Mine is 300cd/m2 and I don't get direct sunlight on it, but it gets nice and bright in our living room and I can still see it clearly.
