Moshri: is he to blame?

Walsh had said he made suggestions which were vetoed.

We know almost Ancelottis signings were his own as well.

Sure koeman bought most of his own players from the lukaku sale also

DOF/Manager they have all been backed by the owner which is all we've ever wanted.

Not happy with the players signed for that dough - take it up with those making the signings.

The problem is he essentially set the dofs against the managers with the setup he had. Poor organisation.

Awww lad, nobody is ever taking you seriously again after these last 6 months.

I'd sign up a new multi if you haven't already.

Why would James Rodriguez be a stick to beat Carlo with? He was actually one of our best players last year.

Not what is being argued is it?

He's blaming Moshiri for letting managers sign their own players yet he and other fans now moaning weren't when Ancelotti signed James were they?

You cant pick and choose when to be offended and outraged.

The issue was you were using the DoF failure as a means of defending Moshiri

Which is blatantly wrong when you see how marginalised they were.

So the dofs are not to blame.

And you’ve got an approval rate of 1 in 6 for managerial appointments

Awful reading

They have, but let's be clear it really it really isn't that simple. There has been meddling, from within and externally, a dysfunctional model and crass behaviour.

Firstly, Moshiri's work on the stadium is up to now commendable, and we also can't ignore the obvious truth that he has (to this point) invested a lot into us.

However, we've had a system where a DoF has been appointed but clearly had little to no influence on the wider influence - tactics, appointment or direction.

We've had managers come in and buy players, with Moshiri purchasing people at a whim too. Iwobi came here for so much because of Arsenal needing cash.

Joorabchian facilitated that deal and we've been left picking up the pieces; El Ghazi's deal appears uncomfortably similar in many, many ways.

While I'm not saying Moshiri is directly to blame for the individual signings, the scatter gun approach and lack of accountability / risk mechanisms is his fault.

He's a successful businessman, but this club is not run well at all - it hasn't been for a while. The current board situation epitomises it all...

Of course we are all assuming Moshiri is the owner.

My gut feeling is that he’s the frontman for the one who is really pulling the strings.
The Mykolenko signing sort of confirms it to me

Most fans were happy enough with Koeman
Most were buzzing with Walsh
Most were happy with Brands when he joined
99.9% wanted Ancelotti

Benefit of hindsight eh!
Yeah hindsight is great, only recently somebody was repeatedly telling everybody on this forum that, Benitez will not get sacked unless we drop into the bottom three. Mosh Man, whoever that is, apparently was keeping him until we moved stadium.
