David Moyes has warned his team not to get careless in their fixture against Tottenham in mid-week.

Everton's solid defence is on a run of six clean sheets in their last eight league games and their third clean sheet on the bounce after a goal-less draw against rivals Liverpool and in their latest win against
Blackburn.

Moyes told Evertonfc.com - "Spurs are in decent form, they have had a good run in the cup just now and they are not too far behind us in the league so it is an important game for us.

Moyes admits that he is pleased with the current form of his players and most of all the defensive work which last week received a major boost after Tim Howard committed himself untill 2012.

"It does please me, It's not something I want to talk about too much - we want it just to keep happening. We'll just get on with it and hope it will continue.

"Tottenham have got quality players throughout their side. Not just their centre forwards.

"They are an excellent side, and a side people thought would be very close to challenging the top four this season, so they have certainly got those players there who can hurt you.

"We were pleased with our last fixture, so hopefully we will be pleased with the next one,"
