Blues boss David Moyes has been smashed with a injury hit squad in preparation for Sunday’s match against relegation strugglers Charlton.
Moyesy has been hit with injuries this season with players like Tim Cahill, Andy Johnson and Manuel Fernandes all having injuries that have frustrated Moyes.
Moyes is likely to be without James Vaughan, Nuno Valente and doubts are with Victor Anichebe, Andy Johnson, Leon Osman and Manny Fernandes.
But hopes are still high that all 4 will be fit for Sunday’s vital game.
Moyes said “The injury situation has been dealt with superbly because of the attitude of the players; some players have played when they have not felt 100%. We have had Tim and Manny out now and I would be lying if I said we were coping well because we do have injuries”.
“Credit to the players, they have kept going and playing well, the players are a good group of players and all know what they have to do. But you need the players to be fit”.
