Yakin isn't it? He was a classy midfielder. Feels a bit Mike Walker to me, mind you I fancy Martinez and he could be a Mike Walker as well. Someone like Bilic could be a good shout, his team would play good stuff but he would take no sh*t from anybody.

What about a man who side performed consistently well in Europe and is full of good players feels 'Mike Walkerish'???

we're all terrified of another Mike Walker, who ever we get we need to be patient, don't want to be ones of those clubs who sack the manager every 16 months. But then again we cant afford to sack managers.

Moyes out

Gonna miss that saying. I do hope the next manager has a simple name for the ******** out sayings.

Is there any indication we wont be?? I think we were very patient with Moyes when we finished 17th in his second season.

A man who has overachieved with a small time club playing good football with little expectation placed on him, pretty much exactly what Mike Walker was, I was delighted when we got Mike Walker!

The job will make or break a manager. FACT.

The financial constraints won't be an issue as, like I've said, you do well here you go to the top jobs after. You'll inherit a good squad capable of competing as well ad a decent kitty in the summer. That's how it should be sold.

It's a massive job. Bigger than some are giving it credit.

You do well here and carry on from Moyes, you're looking at top jobs in European football afterwards.

If you fail miserably, you're managing Cheltenham not Chelsea afterwards.

Grat shout mate.

Yakin

And he's quite sexy.

This is what I'm talking about

I want a Euro manager who wears Brut for men, a pair of glasses and winklepickers. It guarantees success

How has he 'overachieved'. He's put a good side together and got them playing to their ability. Isn't that what Moyes has done?

We need to let the spectre of Walker go now. It was 20 years ago mate.

Kin' ell imagine me coming on stating we don't want another Gordon Lee scenario.
