Moyes wins Manager of Year for record third time

EVERTON'S David Moyes was honoured for the third time with the prestigious Manager of the Year Award at the League Managers' Association awards in Nottingham last night.
The award, sponsored by Barclays, was voted by managers from the top four leagues in England and it comes on top of the same accolade for Moyes in 2003 and 2005. He is the only manager to win the award three times.
LMA chairman and former Notts County boss Howard Wilkinson, said: "Since joining Everton, David has not only transformed the club's fortunes, he has also created a huge fan base – including many of his fellow managers.

Well deserved. When i watched crappy Setanta last night and they didnt even mention Moyes. Even Harry Redknapp got voted as manager of the year by fat John Hartson.(obviously biased cause he played under him) The other two voted for Hodgson. :huh:

Nice one Moyesy. Personally, I would have voted for Hodgson for turning a potential circus owned by Al Fayad and managed by previous incompetent managers back into a proper football team.

Its on the official site and that is probably the first time i've seen it on the site before the main media. Its not even been mentioned by sky as far as I can see, but it is true.
