Um, he was not close. He projected a statutory loss of 78 million, when there was a loss of 44.7 million.

I’m not making any claims to back up. You got angry about Esk’s projections because you’ve seen some evidence apparently that they are wrong, I just asked to see this evidence. It’s that simple really.

For what it’s worth, people used to kick off at Esk years ago when he said we were a mess financially. Oh look, he was right.

Honestly he thinks I’m trolling or being a contrarian or whatever, I genuinely want to see these figures that he’s referring to that suggest our finances are in better health than the Esk suggests. He seems to suggest they’re everywhere and common knowledge. Have you seen them?

He just knows how to present it nicely and it bowls everyone over.

I don’t think he’s got a source, he is just happy go lucky and if you throw something at a wall, eventually some of it will stick.

The Esk just loves the sound of his own voice and the adulation he receives.

I’m relaxed about MSP; they’re coming it, it’s not impacting our summer, their investment will be invested by others if it collapses. We’ve got lots to worry about this off season, I just don’t think the financing by MSP is one of them.

Tbf with the exception of about 4 clubs, most teams in the prem are a mess financially (compared to ‘normal’ businesses). We may be more ‘messy’ than most but the majority operate on a financial knife edge.
