How the friggin hell does a muppet like Phil Thompson get a job on SSN? He's a horrible [Poor language removed] head of a redneck and I think he represents everything the RS are about. he's on so that we can all tune into ssn when the rs are getting beaten/ knocked out / all hopes of title gone. the annual subscription is worth it just to see him looking like his missus has run off with his brother, emptied his bank account, ordered him a royal blue ferrari with an efc plate and a heart and soul window sticker, and the laxative in his flask has just kicked in.

Kind of off topic but they were showing a Premier League "classic" on FSC last night and it was between Liverpool and Manu from 1994.

Two things stuck out at me:

1) Ryan Giggs played in that match. Amazing that he's still playing.

2) How many players who played in that match are managers now. Off the top of my head:

Steve Bruce
Paul Ince
Mark Hughes (at least I think Hughes played)

Can't remember the others but I thought there were at least two more.
