Started a blog recently. Might turn out to be complete wank, but it'd be good to get some feedback on it. It isn't strictly speaking about Everton but I'm sure I'll make the odd murmouring about the lads.

So you want to do your MBA at Stanford. It's a damned good institution, Bruce. I'm sure you'll get in. Just work on getting the references sorted out. But don't be in awe of those guys, you're as good as them. I mean that, seriously.

I've long used Stanford as a reference for things philosophical. The university has an excellent encyclopedia, which is still a work in progress. There's even an entry on libertarianism . Have a look if you're interested in that sort of thing:

Interesting encyclopedia, is it user generated ala Wikipedia or something more akin to the traditional encylopedias?

All the entries are by professional philosophers, which is why it is taking some time to fill it up. It is generally the case that the university seeks a person considered a specialist in the field and offers him or her the chance to write the entry. That way, when the encyclopedia is near to completion, it really will be an excellent reference point.
