Well, were do I start ?
I got a link to a thread on this site last weekend, Im a bitter and twisted Blue ( with good reason ) , yet this thread was odd.. by odd.. I mean it was pictures of Pokemon. Now men of my age have little knowledge of Pokemon, but through the kids, we pick things up.
I dont usually laugh out loud, but this was comedy gold, Im sure that the really funny 'scouser' John Bishop has already nicked it for his Xmas dvd.
Anyway, I do know a lot about a few things, and I know little about a lot of things.
I Like a (serious) punt, but football gambling is not profitable for me, but I still do it, should just stick to Cycling and NFL..

Now even such a question of ' where do you come from ? ' is funny to me..
No ****, today, I was taking some bags from the boot of the car with my dad and a man, I had never seen before in my life, literally shouted at me " where are you from ? " My dad answered in a lairy tone.. " What ? " Then a more prominent scouse accent came back " where are you lot from ? " My dad got it, he answered " Anfield ! " before he had chance to elaborate, the random fella stated, " Im from Walton " and before you know it they were talking about hospitals and birthdays ! This wouldnt be funny if the conversation wasnt happening in Southampton !
Different gravy living down here.. I see a prominent member of this site is also from Hampshire...

Its a 'northern thing' according to the Mrs.. chatting to strangers that is.. I do it all the time, but apparantly its a bit odd ? Im not originally from Hampshire, my time in the forces somehow kept me down here.
