naysmith moves onto the blades

My most enduring memory of him is as the victim of Gerrard's two-footed horror tackle a few years back. Good move fir him, blades and us.

Yeh good luck Nace!

i am worried though, one problem we've had is low numbers- one comes in and one goes out so we are still low on numbers! At least Nace was good in reserve and could do an adequate job from the bench.

moyes keeps improving the nucleus of the squad and cutting out dead wood. Still no matter our commitments increasing, we seem to keep reducing in numbers.

Soon we'll be left with one superhuman player, as tall as godzilla and as skillful as errr. artetazilla.

FFS moyesie, how the [Poor language removed] are we meant to rotate fifteen players or are they all just going to play every match and never ever get an injury?

He's done ok for us I think. For £1.7m he managed over 150 games for the club and has earnt a bit of cash from the sell on fee. With both Naysmith and Pistone moved on it does suggest that Moyes is either looking to bring someone into the left back area or is happy with Boyle stepping up next season. I'm not sure we'll get a full season out of Valente so it does look a potential weak spot because, well though he played there, I don't think anyone wants Lescott there full time.

Good luck Nace, not the most skilful, he always tried. I remember a couple of occasions where he 'cleared' the ball, inches from our goal!!

He should do well with the Blades, like he says he is ok with dropping down a division and I think it takes a lot to say that. Should be much more suited to him.

Best wishes to him, I think the time was right for him to move on. As for L, last year Lescott covered very well with Stubbs at CB, so looking weak at LB. Does that mean I wonder an Lb is on his way from Wigan or Nice anyone?

i see what your saying and agree with most of it
i think moyes is taking the squad in the right direction but i think a lack of money is why we aint got a bigger squad, i think we will have when money is available to do that but untill then im happy the 15 16 17 players we have are better than when he took over

the thing i see a lot is people say why didnt we sign him he only cost bla bla
well maybe we have a better player in his position or the player refused to speak to us or his wage is 45 grand a week or who cares he aint our player

if ive said it once ive said it a thousand times it takes time you cant go out a buy an henry or a terry
im sorry but a lot of players wont sign for the wages everton can afford to pay. these players aint everton fans and this isnt a video game

arteta cost 2 or 2.5 million right. say we've got 18 million to spend. here's the team I'd buy.

--------Howard-------

Arteta Arteta Arteta Arteta

Arteta

Arteta Arteta Arteta

Arteta Arteta

We'd probably finish a game with about 96% possession.
