Hi guys, I haven't posted since about Christmas, forgot my password and then created a new account via facebook. can I link the profiles or delete the old one? it's not very interesting!

anyway - I've been a blue since 1990 when I was 8 and understood what football was... I just missed the good years, but was 15 when we last won a cup... now 36 and getting closer to 37.

I don't get to many matches at all any more due to family, sporting commitments, etc, but still have mega fumes when we drop points and losing a midweek game ruins the night still.

looking forward to the new era.... :)

Hello to each. I'm new on GOT and am unsure of protocol.
As for me , well I am hardly new and do not know exactly how to categorise myself. I am originally of Hungarian stock who moved to Chirk, and from there on to, I hate to say, Birkenhead.
I had spells living in Toxteth in the late sixties and in Glasgow in the early seventies, moving to Kirkby in the mid seventies and the on to Bootle some while later , before working in Iran and Italy for certain lengths of time. In fact my sojourn in Italy came to an un-amicable closure when I flew back for the Gareth Farrelly game as it was just TOO important to miss. Then finally to Prenton where I have resided since about 1846.
I suppose I am the worst kind of ted imaginable as I am not a Plazzy, a Wool, a La, a Carrot Cruncher, or anything.
Unclassified really, other than being a Blue from 1954 and a season ticket holder, courtesy of my mum and dad since 1962, (which I have never relinquished such an honour even when working away), until this day.
Keep The Faith, because this is THE most significant period in the clubs history since the late Sir John Moore. It really is THAT monumental and best taken seriously and carefully, safe in the knowledge it is being driven, yes driven, by consummate professional businessmen.

Welcome sir

Welcome to GOT and congratulations on being by far and away the oldest poster in town.
Thanks for the hi's, guys. All I have to do now is make sure I don't waz anybody off if I wish to retain the 'oldest poster in town' tag. If I could take up the kind offer of cheese on toast from the aptly named ILIKECHEESE, could I request the cheese to be tangy and the toast just a tad on the burnt side.
Thanks to all in anticipation, and prepares to bail out.

You must've learned to live in those places sharpish.
Welcome blue!
