(so, I register, and it looks like nobody uses real names on here. Sigh...)

Hello, all, my name is marc, and I am a blue.

Born & grew up in the 'pool (west derby), but haven't lived there since about 1978. Currently living in SE London.

First game: against Stoke, either 69-70 or 70-71. Gordon Banks was still in goal for Stoke. We won 1-0.

Most memorable game seen: 8-0 against Southampton in the snow (1972?). I was in the upper Gladwys St., and you could hardly see the far end of the pitch for the freezing fog. Didn't feel the cold.

Come to think of it, I don't remember ever seeing EFC lose - maybe I did, and I've suppressed the memory. It's been many years since I've been to Goodison.

Favourite players: Kendall, Labone, Royle. Howard K. edges it for his subsequent managerial feats.

Currently: no favourite particularly. It's all about the team. I happen to believe David Moyes is the best thing that's happened to this club in the Premiership era. I hope that's not as much an invitation to mockery and ridicule as it might be on some other EFC forums?

What else? Something about pineapple on pizza? Just say no.

Close enough, mate. I. C. Burns here.

Welcome mate. Good intro (y).

As you'll find out, there's a good mix of people on here from those who think Moyes is God to those who think he's a monster, but we ( mostly ) manage to get on. Watch out for Chico though.
