New Core 2 Duo E6850 + Mobo

Anyone interested in a brand new, unopened core 2 duo e6850 and motherboard which supports it, again brand new !!

This is dual core 3 ghz so in total 6ghz - very quick !!!

a shop made a [Poor language removed] up and i have been waiting for 2 weeks for delivery and since purchased a different item.

these are still completely sealed.

these retail for in excess of £200

Also got a new samsung dvd writer again brand new, and not needed now !!
 
also, what is the make of the mobo?

im looking at abit ip35 because, quite frankly, it rocks.

you selling separately or as a bundle?
 
can do both to be honest matey. its an Asrock motherboard, havent got the model number here but its a basic one not an all dangly balls licking one !!! still good though !!

give me a sensible offer on which ever and ill sort you out.. remember it is brand new though, and these chips retail for around £180 new.. (this is still sealed)

Me too, i've never had any issue with it either,but i'm beginning to fear over usage of my pc.So i'm considering getting a new laptop soon, april sales maybe, as the laptop that i've got ( HP ZE4500 ) has a shattered screen and can i bugger find a replacement for it :@

carphonewharehouse are still doing free laptops when you sign up to aol
 
I wouldn't dare go with AOL, i've heard they are beyond [Poor language removed].I'm with Virgin at the moment and i can't see that changing unless some spiffing once in a lifetime deal comes along.
 
Free broadband with Sky.

I'm with Virgin and they are beyond wank.

Unfortunately living in hicksville I cannot get my bb free with Sky. Something to do with living too far away from the network.

So for the time being I'm stuck with laggy Virgin.net.

I probably would have been interested in the cpu if I hadn't upgraded a month or 2 ago.

If you can get the IP35 for a good price get it. If not you should consider the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L. Over here it is about $100 cheaper and has an all solid-state design giving it increased durability and incredibly friendly to overclocks. The downside the the gigabyte board, no SLI and no RAID 0 support, but if you can live without that then it is the perfect motherboard. Plus it has 45nm support right out of the box, with the Abit's they have had wonky support that has only been partially fixed with the latest bios upgrades.

Also, if you can't find a 45nm E8400 you could go for Intel Xeon version of the processor, the E3110. The Xeon's are specced exactly the same (they are the same processor), but they are cheaper and more readily available.
 
nope tried that matey... they [Poor language removed] me round for a week, so i turned around and said i want my money back actually... then i got a phone call and they said, we have despatched the item to you just now, it will be with you tomorrow. i said im not too happy as i have since purchased this elsewhere, and they said their is nothing they can do as they are a trade company not a normal shop.

[Poor language removed] aint it !!

taken 2 weeks to get to me this has, they first of all said they would send it next day, forgot 2 days in a row, so received it 3 days later after waiting in both days.

then when it was delivered the parcel was left outside the house on the bin at 7am and i didnt get the note until 11am in which time the item had been removed.

4 days later the delivery company took liability and refunded the shop who then said they didnt have a replacement in, so i asked for other stuff and they kept saying they need to talk to the manager before they can despatch anything, each time the manager wasnt it... and nothing was sorted..

i massively kicked off last night, and said i have since ordered it elsewhere, i want a refund, again they went off to speak to accounts, then all of a sudden my parcel was resent out and they couldnt refund ...

so now im stuck with unwanted stuff..

really bad customer service who are quite unreliable to be honest...

sooo...

anyone want the stuff???

trading standards for starters.

i cant take the mobo off you, i want the 'ip35 off limits'

the processor looks good, but it'd have to be the right price, as it stands i'll need an 'antec nine hundred case' a few gigs of 'DDR2' the 'mobo' a new 'psu' and a 'pci-e graphics card'

right this second, i dont have

the best part of £600 lying around.

as for the cpu...
