Are you really for real. Peter Crouch and Momo Sissoko were very very good signings. Jonjo Shelvey was signed as a 16 year old and is an England International with hundreds of games played in the premier league.

How about use a bit of context with these signings. Murphy and Hanley were brought in for the championship only. A lot of these players were brought in to be backup players like Voronin and Cavalieri. A lot of these players were brought in as standout youngsters such as Paletta, Leto, Insua etc. You don't always strike gold with young players. For every Suso or sterling you're going to get 10 average young players. Players like Muto and Joselu were 5th choice players.

Seem to know an awful lot about RS signings mate.

Peter Crouch a very very good signing? And Joselu featuring 32 times in his first season for Newcastle isn't bad for a 5th choice player (along with his 4 goals).

This is the only reason I can see for the delay. Surely Benitez would already have been appointed. Problem is, we're 18 months from a world cup, only manager likely to leave his post is Joachim Loew, and I'm not convinced he is the right fit either.
I suspect the reason for the delay is everyone involved in the club apart from Moshiri are tearing their hair out wondering how they’re going to tell the fans lol

Wrong.

I see Favre has turned down Spurs, does anyone know why.
I know very little about him but I’d bite your hand off for him right now.
Was it not Palace he turned down? Apparently wants a break from football. Or what is more commonly known as, “No thanks. I’m waiting for a better job to come up.”

Just to clarify that’s no slight on Palace. He clearly didn’t fancy any others either lol

A 1 in 10 ratio on signing young players seems ridiculous low to me. If your holding him to those standards no wonder he is excelling.
