The reason the Spurs stadium isn’t intimidating is that it is full of Spurs fans.

The away fans won’t know what’s hit them when they have to sit through 90 mins smelling the sewage plant next door.
That alone will cost them visitors during the week unless they can do something about it.

Been going down there nearly every week for almost 3 years, probably smelt bad on less than 6 occasions and a few of them times it was drifting down from Cargills and others

Spurs ground is the gold standard in the PL.

Spurs stadium has a cavernous feel too it which takes away from the intimidation factor.

The “wave” effect on their South stand ruins that stand as well imo.

BMD feels a lot tighter/compact.

That is the advantage of the smaller capacity

Looking forward to seeing the pitch to get the proper perspective but it does look very intimate. I suspect distance from the pitch will be pretty similar to Goodison

The pitch is further away in BMD. There are certain distances required for international matches. Mr Drone discussed this a while back on his video where he showed the wheelchair seats

I'd argue there is a pretty constant smell near the Works/BMD northern half that whilst doesn't always stink its certainly not one you'd choose to hang out in.

There's always been a smell around that area from Cargills & United Mollases been like that for decades , it honks if you are downwind of it.
