New Everton Stadium

I like the idea of playing on the waterfront. Then we could be contenders.
By the way, on the controversy of including Liverpool in the title, when I was a boy (I'm in my mid-50s) it was common enough for anyone from the city to call themselves a Liverpudlian, regardless of team, although I remember an Everton friend of my dad's calling himself a Liverpolitan. Now, though, I'd always just say I was from Liverpool. Awareness of football seems to have seeped into every aspect of life these days, whereas it just used to be confined to its box back then. Obsessed as I am, I'm not sure that's a good thing.

People need to swerve the suggestion of including "Liverpool" in the stadium name. No thanks.

It's not what we are... Everton aren't we?

Dean Park, something simple and to the point. Have a lazer lighting system that zaps both the old St Ruperts tower and another across the river to Birkenhead, Deans old home. a cross-river statement of the original team of Merseyside.

Like I said Dan Meis is already been tasked to work on the design.
He met up with some US EFC Supporters yesterday in LA to watch the game.
Google him

When I first saw that I thought Moshiri was so good, he could bring people back from the dead.

How do you know, besides wiki?

Xan Young looks cool.

if or when we get a new stadium all I want within it's design is a " home end", call it what you will but make sure there's a " Gwladys street".crucial imo.

It seems the Roma stadium was designed with the intent of having 1) the stands tight to the pitch and 2) an intimidating home end, to produce a good atmosphere in the ground. Hopefully that'll be the case with ours, if indeed the same people are designing the ground.

Something like that would look class ;)

Pillars on the outside, that would unusual

It would be, but it's pretty much what Abramovich is planning for Chelsea to replace Stamford Bridge...and Chelsea being Chelsea it looks like they're going to be buying their own brickworks to make the six million bricks needed for it.

I want it to be as far removed from the design of West Hams stadium as possible. That'd be my worst nightmare.

Huge, towering, steep stands that are as close to the pitch as regulations allow.
