New Everton Stadium

I am to assume all the developments in the "Everton Quarter" such as hotels, bars, restaurants, museum and whatever else, will all provide income for Everton throughout the year?

If so, would I be correct in assuming such revenue will go towards alleviating any future Short Term Cost Control (STCC) regulations?

Very exciting indeed. Game changer as @Bob Elstone said above.

...if we are on the waterfront we need to ensure the stadium is situated/angled to give us the best possible profile from the river. It has to be right in your face as boats come up the Mersey, no space for buildings in front of it, just full-on.
With an arrow pointing at castle grey skull's big stand with a big LOL written next to it

If you look at the Roma stadium video (which the Meis architects produced, the ones designing our new stadium, so this video is the sort of stuff we'll get when ours is announced), and get to the parts towards the end where they show the insides of the stadium and the stands, you'll see the stands inside are different. There's a more corporate end, and then there's very steep - dare I say, Kop-like (Dortmund more than the other lot) two tier massive stands where the atmosphere would be great.

If we got something like this, with an EFC twst/theme, coupled with being on the banks of the Mersey, it would be incredible. It would blow away every other club ground in this country, and make LFC's new stand look like nothing.

To say this would transform the club in so many different ways is the understatement of the century.

That actually looks really good. Neither a space ship or a tent and stands close to the pitch. Earlier I thought it did have a track but I must have been looking at an old picture. Something like that on the docks would be great. Almost too good to be true.

Externally, it just looks like myriad other doughnut shaped arena. I want something that wows inside and out. It needs to be as instantly recognisable as the Allianz or the Lucas Oil.
I love that Lucas Oil building but it cost one billion. I don't think we have the money to build something like that and a cheap render would probably look awful.

I think the one thing that we can gather from this whole thing is that very few people knew who the Arch was a week ago. So the reports of styles and seeing models etc were likely well wide of the mark.

I suspect the stadium will be something that we don't expect and will be something to make us proud of our new home and respectful to our past.

I think so too but I also don't expect the architects to deviate too far from what they've done in the past. Which is no bad thing. Out of all the modern stadiums that one I quite like. It's not quite up there with Spurs but it's good.
