Was the window open though? It could make all the difference.Dont think a guy who gets info from asking players through a window is reliable myself like.
Once it's built...When do we reckon we'll cool our interest in the stadium then?
I am sure our commercial division will be selling Evertonure to the gardeners from the waste from the sewage farm and making a bomb well rotted in little blue bags it will sell like golddust stop knocking the venue on the front in liverpool access will be made - stop moaning! It took me literally 1 min in a cab from James Street Station to the Titanic Hotel (a stones throw to BMD) when I was there on Saturday night.
People need to get it out there heads that it's in the middle of no mans land surrounded by eggy smells.
The dock wall is a good point. They need more ways through it than exist at present.IF the deal is sealed for BM dock, that's only the first step. The more I think about it, the less of a formality the planning permission for the stadium will be.
The main concern I think will be health and safety. 50,000+ people all approaching a site from the east. A listed dock wall with only a few gates that everyone needs to enter and and exit from. If its just BM dock we are getting, these problems will surely be a major stumbling block.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
Sorry I didn't I've just seen the headline and assumed it related to that but the area there does smell whether it's the UU plant or molasses. As far as I can see UU were taken to court but were found to have broken no laws. There was also an out of court settlement agreed with local residents. The location is great if the 'smell' can be fixed if not it becomes an unattractive site IMO.
Actually think the integrity of the dock wall is of historic importance,so unlikely to knock through .The dock wall is a good point. They need more ways through it than exist at present.
I reckon they have two choices: knock more exits into it, or put in some underpasses.

In Kirkby you could see the obvious minefield the scheme had to pick its way through with residents, traders and nearby LAs all dead set against it. The KD was the same too as far as residents were concerned and the location was such that the traffic issues would have been monumental and require a lot of innovation to overcome.Once it's built...

I'm sure there are problems with this proposed site too in terms of affecting people's lives, but on first thought I'm struggling to think of them. With every agency on board it should be doable. My biggest reservation is EFC: Moshiri or not - I dont trust this club to do anything right. Experience tells me that if there's a way to bollocks something up or to use something as a smokescreen for ulterior motives then they'll find it.
