This is a brilliant model tho, wanted to get it for my son as a birthday present but the cost is mad.

are clubs allowed to play premier league games in a stadium with the roof shut ? genuine question..

even if not, having a retractable roof gives the club lots more options for stadium use and doesnt limit us to just football

I remember going on a tour of the Amsterdam arena a couple of years back, and i'm sure the tour guide mentioned that Ajax don't have to inform their opponent if they planned to close the roof for a particular fixture (although they usually do out of courtesy). What an advantage that would be with the atmosphere you could create with the roof closed.

WEll I don't think anyone said there'd be an announcement today Nodderlover, but I do think Esk has mentioned possible announcment in october. But I think you're right about a lot of chat when nothing officially from the club.
