Nice thought, but with the best will in the world if it's at the Bramley Moore Dock it'd have to be a pretty panoramic vision of the Liverpool skyline to include it with the iconic buildings of the waterfront as they are presently constituted. Now the Kings Dock site...THAT was slap bang in the zone.

Went along past BM dock earlier and the drive in cinema scaffold frame for the big screen has been dismantled and removed. Site is being cleared. Wonder why?

place could be used all year around for events. RS fans having to go to concerts in an Everton stadium!

Looking at the Roma stadium design , and remembering the football village concept, I'm imagining the idea is not just to make money from the stadium but also from the surrounding restaurants , shops etc. If this is the idea then it could be far bigger potential than we seem to be considering. Bigger risk also.
