New Everton Stadium

The 'giveaway' prices sound great but you have to be careful not to alienate ST holders and others who are paying full price. It's a fine balance but I'm sure the number crunchers have a plan.

The cheaper tickets would likely be up in the sky anyhow. Unless we have just a dull 2 tier job - in which case the upper rows of it. ST holders tend to look for the best seat rather than best price. They could always go up to the top or right at the back if they so wish, just up to demand how many can, if all are sold out then they have to buy the priceier ones. It's not really different to how it works now, not just in football but concerts and theatre tickets also.

We could go for a simple stand design like this, steep, close to the pitch, single tier each end, but then have a modern outer shell and roof like the Allianz, that's my dream..
Doesn't the UK have different laws than mainland Europe in regard that stands cannot go past a certain degree for steepness, looking at the Yellow wall at Dortmund that stand is so steep but no modern ground/stands in England have any stands that steep.

Hence why all these modern stadia here all have the same design especially the bowl shaped ones,Allianz arena is bowl shaped but looking at it those stands seem alot steeper than say the Emirates, stadium of light etc, also Spurs are doing a single seater behind one of the goals in their new stadium and i'm betting it wont be as steep and high as Dortmunds due to the regulations we have here.

Not sure mate, but Liverpools new main stand looks fairly steep, and I think the Emirates was designed around sunlight reaching the pitch which would explain why it's shallow.. but yeah the single tier bowls like the boro, Swansea and Leicester aren't as steep as Dresdens... I'll read up on this

Why are people obsessed with 'the tower'? It isn't, and never has been, a tower and would look monumentally bad incorporated on a massive scale into any stadium building.

We're not West Ham.
West Ham's lego-like castles were absolutely hideous. Looked so crap. Trying to put towers into our new stadium would probably look the same imo.

As for Dortmund's ground. It probably wouldn't look so intimidating if it was full of Arsenal fans.

It pretty much is. Dortmund's isn't actually that steep, just very big. Comparison:

Biggest difference is the roof and the fact the corners slope down in the New WHL rather than joining at the back all the way round. But in terms of size and rake it's pretty much comparable with Dortmund's.

Of course, they have safe standing, which means the capacity is 5-6k more than our stand will be.
