New Everton Stadium

All gone a bit quiet this, probably a figment of the ITKs imagination like all the boss signings we were meant to be getting in the transfer window.

there wont be anything announced before that stadium conference thing at the end of the month at the earliest. not sure what you're expecting before then.

Would you sooner people made up some information to keep all the impatient fans happy? If it's going to happen, it will, but if there is nothing new to report then it's no surprise that it's gone quiet is it?

It's as if people think these decisions can just happen in a week and we can start building straight away.

You're right to be a bit sceptical about it after so many false dawns, but when there is an update to report, the fans will hear about it i'm sure.

Just seen the itiniery for the stadium conference

The last sentence may be of interest. So...the question is, are they teasing because they know there will be an update at their summit, or just for the sake of it?

TheStadiumBusiness Design & Development Summit 2016
kicks off with an optional full day programme
on Merseyside, taking in the stadium makeover of Everton FC’s Goodison Park and the newly-completed
main stand at Liverpool FC’s Anfield. You can join the programme in Manchester (with coach transfers
included) or travel directly to Liverpool to join us. But you must register in advance!

BREAKFAST BRIEFING, BACON BUTTIES & INSIDER TOUR
Whilst debate continues on a future new stadium for Everton FC
(with a potential boost from Liverpool’s bid for Commonwealth
Games 2026), the club has continued to invest in its historic
Goodison Park. The ground dates back to 1892 and is one of the
world’s oldest purpose-built football grounds.
The club’s new owners have stated their intention to put
The
Toffees
at the top table of Europe’s football elite, whilst preserving
the unique community foundations of this club. This summer’s
close-season sees the completion of a comprehensive overhaul of
hospitality spaces, new LED lighting, rebranding and re-naming of
two stands and eye-catching, vinyl wrappings of the stadium
exterior.

Tour this dramatic stadium makeover and hear how it was
delivered in just weeks! Who knows, we may also get an update on
the club’s future stadium plans?

Been in circulation for weeks that, @Ashtonian has on a deeper spiritual level changed his toilet seat about three times in the time

Article in the Echo stating that the council may use CPO's for landowners around the dock road, which someone may be better to explain to me, is near our potential new stadium?

the bit about the commonwealth games is wrong, some dudes on here said so.
moshiri wouldn't allow it and hes building a Dortmund/bilbao copy on the river,
the athletics will be held in Wavertree in front of one man and a dog,
only kopites would spread rumours otherwise!

They are but these road improvement plans have been in the offing for a good while before now. Before Moshiri's interest in the blues even, so it is very doubtful there is a link.

CPO's got issued on business up towards Millers Bridge end last year. They are improving the road network in anticipation of traffic from L2, nothing to do with the stadium
