New Everton Stadium

I was just about to jump on the band wagon and say who do the BU think they are but I actually took the time and read through the tweets.

They personally never asked for themselves to be consulted, but the fans. Which is not a bad idea when you think about it.
Reasoning and fact checking has no place on the Internet!!!

Aye. Which is why I said under current legislation and rules.
I imagine the discussion will be down the track a bit, i.e 5 years time.

It's already ongoing, there are unconfirmed reports that spurs new stadium will have rail seats already installed just waiting for the approval to use them in standing mode. Clubs like villa will start trialing in the near future, it will only take 2 to 3 years I reckon. By 2020 I expect every top flight club to have these areas. Maybe Liverpool and Everton will take a bit longer for obvious reasons but they will soon see rail seats are not like uncontrolled pen's.

It's always best to check out before jumping on the bandwagon.

They tweeted Anderson telling him that the fans should be consulted on stadium facilities and ticket prices. They may as well have tweeted Jennifer Jewell telling her that fans should be consulted on the gradient of the stands. Fair enough that some think it's good that they put those tweets out and probably slate Anderson for not responding to them.

Not quite (unless I've missed something!). This is what we know:

Flexibility for the future – with sections of the seating bowl designed to accommodate areas of safe standing if the current licensing regulations change.

I assume that means Populous has also taken into account things like number of turnstiles, exits, toilets etc should we decide to go above a 1:1 ratio and have a greater capacity in the standing sections than would normally be the case.

I doubt it's too hard to design something that can be changed should the law change. Your guy Meis should be definitely looking at it.

Anderson was responding though, you claimed a few pages back that the BU wanted to be consulted and then caused a load of people to jump on the bandwagon.

When it clearly says they want fans to be engaged to not cause another Destination Kirkby fiasco.

You've made a mountain out of a mole hill.

They said the fans wanted to be consulted. I pointed that out. I never said they wanted to be consulted, not sure where you think you saw me saying that. What I was laughing about was why they chose to tweet the mayor about it when it's clearly nothing to do with him. You think that's a good idea, fair enough.

The Blue Union tweeted him saying they wanted a "meaningful dialogue" with fans regarding the stadium move. Joe Anderson replied asking what they meant by meaningful dialogue saying he would if he could. Then the Blue Union said they wanted consulting on location, facilities, transport links, safe standing, ticket prices and to be engaged with "on the whole package" so obviously Anderson then ignored them.

That's when you said it, on your original post. I've put it in bold to help you see it better.
