When people say 4 sides instead of a bowl surely a bowl is more intimidating ? I think the most intimidating part of goodison is the bullens/street end corner which is the only 'bowl like' part of our ground.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think the argument is around having 4 sides hugging the touchline (with corners filled in) vs the oval shape where there is no distinction between the 4 stands (like the West Sham stadium). The latter sucks and needs to be avoided.School them Groucho. x
