Bit of pressure now for an announcement by the time of the AGM. I'm becoming both increasingly nervous and excited considering the previous false dawns. Of course, an announcement represents only the beginning of the project in the real sense, and much work to be done, but it would still be a moment to saviour. I hope things are on target for this to happen in the next few weeks. I also hope that they big it up as much as possible - something like this is like gold dust for morale and the club should milk it and get its share of the spotlight as much as possible.

when i went to vienna recently for the welsh game they were selling popcorn in the stadium, someone coming around to all the seats selling it,


... this would be a terrible idea.

I hate these flags, fans having there own is one thing, was looking at them at City at the weekend, total nonsense.

You're obviously on the wind up, but it's interesting that both Man City and Liverpool have extended their grounds to 55 and 54,000, yet both can't sell out in certain big games themselves which is one of the worries that people have if we started at 55,000. Not sure whether LFC were offering their £9 tickets for local fans for the Man United game the other night, but for them to be 1,200 down on Capacity is pretty poor.

Man City often struggle to sell out CL games as well.

Then again, it doesn't surprise me too much as before both clubs expanded, neither had averaged over 50,000 in a season like we have done before, so perhaps the local matchgoing fanbase just isn't there for either of those clubs when they play a big game mid week?

We on the other hand are selling out our 40,000 stadium with weeks to spare with £35-£40 tickets for a lot of games, despite thousands of terrible obstructed views.

I am looking forward to us showing our neighbours how it's done when we move to the new Stadium.

Selling out CL games is hard as for the most part they are just rubbish games, the league is all that really counts, but apart from a small number of clubs most of the sides you play in European games are rather uninteresting

I can understand with some CL games but City often don't get near to selling out for some of the bigger names either. Something I would expect of them since they have won 2 league titles in recent years so the fanbase is on a high and they're a big club.

I would fully expect a wrap-around LCD screen at the top of the stadium.

Never seen the need for screens myself, too busy watching what's happening on the pitch.

Never seen the need for screens myself, too busy watching what's happening on the pitch.

There are seats at Goodison where the screen comes in handy.

At an unrestricted ground, there's less need.

Agree with this... my legs get claustrophobia in the Main Stand.
Old Trafford and the Hawthorns are not good either.
The Emirates is terrific for leg room !!
