I read the £300m figure as worth to the city of Liverpool rather than stadium and surround build valuation.

I meant, I would expect the whole development (stadium and surrounding related build) to cost more than £300m.

But then, I would also say that the stadium will be worth much more to the city than £300m.

Moshiri is a shareholder in a big Russian Steel company, reckon that could reduce the cost of materials? Surely it'd make sense to go through them to get the stuff to build the ground.

The figure in that article is for the surrounding area and not just the ground.
