New Everton Stadium

Where are your "unsubstantiated claims" that he didn't put any money in? I trust the person that told me fully. Do you trust your sources or are you just making assumptions based on nothing?

There are 2 types of Evertonian on this forum. Those who want what's best for the club, but prefer to focus on negatives in nearly every post. The other also wants what's best for the club, but tries not to kneejerk and sees certain elements of positivity in what the players and club are trying to do.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of the forum prefers to be negative. I think your claim that £70m was put in by Moshiri seems perfectly reasonable to be honest, but that's a positive suggestion so can't possibly be true to some on here.

He was definitely not happy about it. Anyway who says the fella was unwilling to invest is a whopper. In his statement when we signed Bolasie he mentioned how Kenwright and Co were working behind the scenes to get more in and had his FULL SUPPORT so he had the money to spend, we're obviously crap and sorting deals out. Moshiri was as angry as us fans on Deadline Day.

Mad this though, he was that angry the people who messed up are still there...

My gut tells me it isn't all as it seems at Everton.

he actually bought Everton for next to nothing on the premise he would invest in the team........investment so far...nothing.
changes for the better?.....yet to see any
completely had Kenwrights pants down

I have to say I like the positivity that Wizard has, it is refreshing to see.

Having heard nothing of any land deals or stadium designs is frustrating, is that where the negativity comes from? But these things don't happen over night and in some cases are complex.

It seems as though alot have little faith in Everton FC, where are the days gone where everyone got behind their team/club. Be negative when there is something to be negative about.

We are going the right direction but what Everton need now more than ever is patience.......

Absolutely none of your post there is true or factual.

He didn't buy Everton 'for next to nothing'.
There was no 'premise he would invest in the team'.
He has never given any news source an interview about his aims.
There has been plenty of investment in terms of money spend, on infrastructure and Goodison upgrades.
All of these were changes for the better.

There are more costs and debt involved in a football club than transfers and cladding

Exactly. It cost him about £20m to move Martinez & co. on, and get Koeman and co. in.

Martinez had 3 years left on his contract, thanks to Kenwright, and we also sacked him before the season finished, which triggered an additional payment as he didn't see out the 2nd of his 5 contracted seasons.

right.... clearly there is no premise he will invest in the team, largely because he has failed to do so.
does anyone know how much he did pay?
what about his daft mate Jim White?
like what? even the council are funding the finch farm redevelopment.
something is not quite right with this fella.

I'm sure you will get around to telling us.

I've noticed you clog up threads posting off conjecture as fact.

Please desist. Ta.
