New Everton Stadium

There is more chance of us winning a cup in next yr than having any concrete plans / designs
I'm more than willing to make a small wager designs and plans are well under way.
This has been a process since June 2013,meeting residents is the next part of the process.
Elstone already let slip about stadium design having a large Home Supporters end.
My guess is this is a lot further along the line than Kenwrights statement, before the club can make such a statement there will have been a lot of groundwork done with The Council,The Housing regeneration project, Designers, Partners & a funding package.
Looking forward to seeing the whole plan open up over the next couple of months.

It would seem the news broke early across the park.

I think that picture proves that Joe Anderson wasn't messing when he said the park has a problem with anti social behaviour and dog shabite.

A fair summary of our plight - it's a chicken and egg dilemma of biblical proportions, and a dilemma that needs masses and masses of thought and every single option considered and costed, and every possible expert in construction, financial matters, logistics etc consulting before a decision is made and a site signed up to.

That's a bit exaggerated. In fact, that may be an unadvisable tack.

Stop listening to people with bad advice and focus on the product: football, and you'll get the desired result. If the desired product is real estate or commercial space, you'll get a crap stadium.

Not that these varied interests can't be combined, but focus on the product and you should get what you want.

Not a big fan of named stands me. I get the nod to the past and all that, just think they sound a bit naff.

Also, if we named all 4 stands, then we win the CL & PL with Bobby, what do we do????

Trust Americans for the answer here. Name the pitch? There's always room for the Brown Shoe Box near the touch line. Don't despair--let history be made first. There will always be a way to immortalize it later.

A retractable roof would be good, one built out of some translucent shimmering blue material. Ideally, the stadium, when lit up at night in all its architectural modernity and splendour, should be a global attraction, a shrine to the magnificent beauty that man is capable of.

Hot pies and cold beer would be nice too.
