Another thing that's amusing is their inability to accept that we are currently filling Goodison. Even the article itself refuses to acknowledge it:
"Just how big should the Blues go? Given that they regularly come close to filling Goodison"
The only game so far this season that the Everton supporters haven't managed to sell out was Arsenal. We got 39,510 for that, and 39,590 on Monday which was sold out a month before the game. So a whopping 80 unfilled seats for the Arsenal game, when we'd won 1 in 10, and tickets were on sale for well over £40, and in most cases, £46-£48 for back row obstructed view seats in the Lower Gwladys.
We have sold out all other league games, and had to fill an extra 1,200 seats for Swansea and Palace who even then, didn't fill their small allocations which is the reason that the attendances in those games were in the late 38,000 region. Not because we didn't fill our bit.
Meanwhile, across the park, they are over 1,000 short of Capacity every game, despite getting their amazing brand new modern stand with luxury views.
